ABOUT ivonne

Ivonne Acero is a Mexican-American singer, songwriter, and producer who makes music for the hours when the world goes quiet and anything feels possible.

Born and raised on a cantaloupe farm in the tiny Arizona town of Aguila, Ivonne grew up in a Spanish-speaking Mexican immigrant family and discovered her voice singing in her local church choir. At 16, she auditioned for Season 9 of The Voice, opening the door to a life in music. She later studied songwriting, production, and music theory at Berklee College of Music and graduated from the Los Angeles Academy for Artists and Music Production (LAAMP), where she was mentored by Grammy-winning producers and songwriters including Stargate.

Her sound finds a balance between the organic and the synthetic: layered vocals, live instrumentation, electronic textures, and distorted edges coming together around hypnotic melodies and emotionally charged performances. Drawing from alt-pop, indie, and Latin influences, she moves naturally between English and Spanish. Her music explores themes of desire, heartbreak, loneliness, freedom, self-discovery, and the tension between who we are, who we've been, and who we might become.

At the center of ivonne's artistic world is the blue hour: not simply a time of day, but a state of mind. She is often awake at 3 AM, when the world is quiet and the possibilities feel endless. It's the hour when she imagines her future, follows impossible ideas, romanticizes what could be, and feels most completely like herself. Her music comes from that space: somewhere between reality and possibility, melancholy and hope, dreaming and becoming.

Rooted in her Mexican-American upbringing but drawn toward the strange and beautiful edges of pop, ivonne is building a world that is dark, romantic, restless, and full of possibility.
